ABOUT DAN
Dan has served on Bellingham City Council since his appointment in December, 2014. He was elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. He is running for re-election to City Council to continue the body of work he started during his first two terms in office. His campaign is people-first and centered on solutions for Bellingham residents on public safety, housing, homelessness and our quickly-growing community.
Originally from Wisconsin, Dan has lived in Bellingham for 34 years. His wife Kelly Bashaw has served on Bellingham School Board for 16 years. They are proud Kulshan Community Land Trust homeowners in the Sunnyland neighborhood
